Ingredients
  

Main
  • 4 x Redstone Dust
  • 1 x Glowstone Block

Equipment

  • Crafting Table
  • Pickaxe
  • Pickaxe with Silk Touch (recommended)
  • Navigation Tools (compass or coordinates)

Method
 

  1. Mine at least 4 blocks of redstone ore using a pickaxe.
  2. Travel to the Nether using a Nether portal.
  3. Hold your Silk Touch pickaxe and break the glowstone block.
  4. Return to your base with 4 redstone dust and 1 glowstone block.
  5. Open your crafting table to access the 3x3 crafting grid.
  6. Place 4 redstone dust in the four corner slots of the crafting grid.
  7. Place 1 glowstone block in the center slot of the crafting grid.
  8. Collect your redstone lamp from the output slot.

Notes

Redstone lamps can be powered with redstone signals to emit light.
