Method
- Rinse the grapes in cool water using a colander, then pat completely dry with paper towels so no moisture remains.
- Set up a work station by filling shallow bowls with sour candy powder, sprinkles, and crushed freeze-dried fruit; line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine white chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second bursts, stirring between each, until smooth and fully melted (about 60–90 seconds total).
- Using a small fork or spoon, dip one grape at a time into the melted chocolate, coating it completely and tapping off any excess chocolate.
- Immediately roll the coated grape in your chosen topping, pressing gently so the coating adheres evenly.
- Place each finished grape on the prepared parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them so they do not touch.
- Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and chill until the grapes are frozen solid and the chocolate snaps when tapped, at least 2 hours.
- Once frozen, move the candy grapes to an airtight container or freezer bag and store in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.
- For the best texture, let the grapes sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes before enjoying.
Notes
Work quickly when dipping and rolling so the chocolate does not harden before the toppings stick.
